A gig poster for San Francisco's favorite accordion rock band, Those Darn Accordions, playing the High Noon Saloon with The Pints on Friday, September 8, presented by the club and Madison community radio station WORT 89.9 FM. A vintage piano accordion is drawn in scratchy black line and printed in red-and-white stripes over a slab of giant red wood-type lettering that shouts the band's name, all set against a warm mustard field. The overprint stripes give the instrument a carnival-ride energy, equal parts polka, punk, and state fair. Show details sit quietly underneath: 9:30 PM, $10 cover, 21 and up.
