An Ode to NYC

A vibrant, hand-drawn tribute to New York City, created for NYCxDESIGN's "Ode to NYC," a citywide poster campaign launched in 2020 that reimagined Milton Glaser's iconic "I ♥ NY" mark through dozens of local designers' eyes. Millman's contribution leans into her signature hand-lettered style, loose and personal rather than polished, turning a familiar symbol into something raw and expressionistic. Displayed alongside posters from Paula Scher, Karim Rashid, and other New York creatives, it became one small, warm piece of a much larger love letter to the city.
