Rainbow Vision

Created for the Santa Fe Film Festival, this poster features Nakamura's Rainbow Vision, a totemic, serpentine figure breathing fire against a star-filled black sky. The creature is rendered in Nakamura's signature style: geometric patterning, mosaic-like color fields, and tribal motifs woven into an organic, spiraling form. A silver-flecked border frames the vision like an illuminated manuscript page. The festival launched in 1999 as a nonprofit championing independent film, awarding The Cider House Rules its first Best Feature honor.
