Created for an AIGA Las Vegas painting workshop with Nakamura, this poster's featured artwork, Manipulated Dream, is classic Nakamura: a totemic horned creature with a scaled coat and reptilian tail rears against a hand-drawn cosmos of eyes, stars, suns, and serpents. Folk talisman meets contemporary illustration, every square inch carrying ornament, every ornament carrying meaning.
