Neumeier closed the studio after 9/11, when most client projects stopped, and made this for Another Poster for Peace, a grassroots project that offered professionally designed posters of dissent as free downloads for anyone with a printer. A hand-inked olive gas can marked WAR tips over and pours onto a small yellow flame marked TERROR. That is the entire argument, made in two nouns and one gesture, with no headline and no statistics: fight terror this way and you feed it. It remains the clearest thing in the collection about what a poster can do that an essay cannot.
