An Evening of Being HumanKind
Justin Ahrens + Tanner Woodford · 2026 · Event poster · Being HumanKind signing with Tanner Woodford · dimensions unconfirmed
Two words, stretched until they fill the room. For the Being HumanKind signing with Tanner Woodford, Tanner drew the project's name as a wall of towering, compressed letters that run nearly top to bottom on a black field—"Being" in sky blue, "HumanKind" in warm yellow. Read up close, the strokes become stripes; step back and the name snaps into focus. Tucked into the base of the B is the small smile from the Being HumanKind mark, a quiet wink that ties Tanner's lettering back to the book.
The poster invites people to "An Evening of Being HumanKind" on November 10, pairing the book's message—presence over distraction, courage over fear, kindness over judgment—with a night of conversation, signing, and connection. The printed footer sums it up: "Meaningful art meets human connection. Created by Justin Ahrens + Rule29 + Tanner Woodford. Printed by O'Neil Printing." Tanner's signature lettering sits at the lower right of the artwork. Paper stock and dimensions are not documented on the sheet.
